Responsibilities:

• Assist preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly. close schedule.
• Define, prioritize, and complete month-end close procedures.
• Prepare monthly General Ledger account reconciliations.
• Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.
• Assist with financial and tax audits.
• Primary responsibility for daily and monthly bank statement reconciliation.
• Assist with implementation and improvement of internal controls and accounting policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of major accounting software packages for both general ledger and statutory accounting
• Ability to multitask and manager multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new tasks with a high level of difficulty
• Self-starter able to take ownership of work product with minimal supervision

Pay DOE 80K to 90K
